13. Bachelor in Tourism Management
IE Business School
back
Our Bachelor in Tourism Management is a truly global, intellectually rigorous, challenging and practical experience. The four-year program combines business and tourism courses with hands-on practical work, projects and special assignments designed to develop your interpersonal skills and your ability to innovate.

In addition, we encourage you to shape your own education and personalize the curriculum to your professional interests. The bachelor program is structured so that students gain the business and tourism fundamentals during the first three years and pursue a specialization in one of the key areas of activity of the tourism industry during the last year. We offer specializations in hotel management, tour operators and agencies, transportation mobility, and destination management.

The program includes the IE Module, designed to bring you up close with professional realities by examining contemporary cultures and societies, gaining interpersonal skills, working in teams, being ethically responsible and obtaining a well-rounded introduction to the business world.

Requirements / Application
Who Can Apply to IE University?

First year Students: (Last year Baccalaureate Students)
You will be considered a first-year applicant if you have not previously attended a university as a credit-seeking student. (Credit-seeking students are those formally enrolled and pursuing an academic degree.)

Transfer Students:
If you have previously been enrolled in a university and have received university level credit, you will be considered a transfer applicant.

Please note that students from outside the European Union should complete their applications for admission well in advance. For these students, the necessity to acquire a student visa to study in Spain makes it virtually impossible to matriculate at IE University if an admission decision is not made before July.

Entry requirements to IE University vary depending on whether you are coming as an entering undergraduate student, (from Spain or abroad) or as a transfer student that has already begun your university studies at an IE partner institution.
Please click below for more detailed information on each case.

  • Our Students:
In addition to your academic achievements and admission test scores, we are looking for outstanding students with good interpersonal and excellent IT skills. We are seeking students with a high level of creativity and strong leadership abilities. These attributes contribute in creating a diverse and stimulating learning environment at IE University, where personal growth and development are as important as the social and cultural experience. This open and globally focused atmosphere is a benefit to our students and the surrounding community as a whole. We want to be blown away by your personal talents, skills, extracurricular activities, and interests. In short, we want to get to know you as a person, as a student and as a potential member of our university community.
